DAY 01 MANAGUA-SAN JORGE-OMETEPE

We will pick up you at the airport and transfer to Port San Jorge where we will aboard a boat to Ometepe Island.  Overnight at Moyogalpa.

DAY 02 OMETEPE

The second day we will have a trip around this island, which is a great opportunity to see the marvellous of the nature.  You can walk between beautiful vegetation of the nature to appreciate the colourful of the environment which has the maximum representation in the pethroglifcs done by the Indian people.  Overnight at Moyogalpa. 

DAY 03 OMETEPE-SAN JORGE-MANAGUA

The third and last day we return to San Jorge and after to Managua.

DAY 01 MANAGUA-SOLENTINAME

this day. We will meet you at the airport and transfer by plane to San Carlos. From here we take you by boat to Solentiname . overnight.  Lunch and dinner are included.

DAY 02 SOLENTINAME

after breakfast, we begin the interesting trip by the Biological Reserve Los Guatuzos by boarding a boat.  You will enjoy the admirable variety of fauna like crocodiles, monkeys and a lot of species of birds.  This is a place full of natural resources and wild scenic beauty that was name “place where God decide to take a rest after he did the universe”.    Lunch and dinner are also included.

DAY 03 SOLENTINAME-MANAGUA

In our last day we transfer you to the airport.  Day 3, return to Managua for Transfer Out

DAY 01 MANAGUA-LEON

First day we will pick up at the international airport or at your hotel, departure to León.  Before we will visit the Old Leon Ruins.  City tour by colonial city of Leon where we will visit the main churches and the indigenous towns named Subtiava and El Laborío.  Reception and check in at Hotel. Overnight

DAY 02 LEON-CHINANDEGA-COSIGUINA VOLCANO-CHINANDEGA

The second day start very early, we will wake up at 05:00 a.m.   Departure to Chinandega and  we will arrive to the farm South Cosigüina, located at the Cosigüina Volcano foothill which cinders of its last eruption in 1835 reach Mexico City.  There we will have one of the most original experiences that are milking of cows and you will learn about a cattle farm.  You will taste typical snacks and coffee.  Panoramic view on a 4 x 4 wheel vehicle.  By horse you will climb the volcano with the impressive view of the Gulf de Fonseca, the only one place where you can observe the borders of the three central American countries: El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.  Lunch and time to take pictures.  Return to Chinandega and lodging at Cosigüina Hotel.

DAY 03 EL VIEJO -EL REALEJO-CHICHIGALPA-MANAGUA

The third day we will checkout to visit The Basilica de El Viejo y departure to Paso Caballos, El Realejo, visit at Chichigalpa the Flor de Caña Rum factory where we can taste it.  Return to Managua.

DAY 04 MANAGUA

Transfer out.

DAY 01 MANAGUA-SAN CARLOS-SOLENTINAME

After we meet you at the international airport, transfer to San Carlos by a domestic plane and from there we take you by boat to Solentiname Islands at Nicaragua Lake.  During this trip we can enjoy the marvelous that this natural resources owns with its incomparable immensity.  Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 02 SOLENTINAME-RESERVE LOS GUATUZOS-SOLENTINAME

Start with your exquisite breakfast followed by a trip by Los Guatuzos, wildlife Reserve on the Los Guatuzos River.  We will start this trip at 05:30 a.m. during it you could see, crocodiles, monkeys and a lot of species of birds in their natural environment.  To finish this trip, we will visit La Venada and Fernanda Islands where you can appreciate the local naïve painters.  Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 03 SOLENTINAME-SAN JUAN RIVER “NATURAL RESERVE INDIO MAIZ”

We will take a boat to San Juan River to visit the Biological and Natural Reserve Indio-Maíz , where the natural environment can be totally admired in all the splendor of the nature and celestial refuge of the paradise. Overnight at  Lodge.

DAY 04 SAN JUAN RIVER “EL CASTILLO

After breakfast, we will have a walking trip through the path where we can enjoy the vegetation and its fauna.  There you could see the way of life of its wild and wild habitants. We will visit the fortress El Castillo at the afternoon. Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 05 SAN JUAN RIVER-MANAGUA  (OR COSTA RICA “LOS CHILES”)

We will return to San Carlos to take your return flight and transfer out.  OPTIONAL: Transfer by boat to “Los Chiles” Costa Rica Border.

A special trip that will allow you to run the Pacific of Nicaragua strip following the volcanic chain, conformed by 25 volcanoes in a perfect alignment to the Pacific Coast and which begin at Cosigüina and finish at Ometepe, precious running combined with our culture, flora and fauna. 

Day 01 MANAGUA

The airport will be our meeting point to transfer you to chosen hotel.

Day 02 MANAGUA-MASAYA-GRANADA

We start our trip visiting the Masaya´s Volcano National Park and its Natural History Museum where we will have an explanation of its and will appreciate original samples of indigenous ceramics and will learn on the history of the volcano, interesting dates on its eruption. We will have the opportunity to learn on the geological formation of the area and of the country in general, its flora and fauna.  We will continue our trip climbing by paved road to La Plaza de Oviedo from where we will have the impressive beauty that Santiago´s crater offer us and can observe, between other species, the nesting of small parrots (named “Chocoyos”) which has been adapted to the sulfurous gases from this active volcano.  Continuously we will go to the “Balcony of Echo” from where we can experience the returning of our voices from the walls of the volcano.  Our singular experience will take us to visit the “Cave of Bats” which begin its route in the crater Santiago and reach 612 meter of length till the end where it is gradually closed. This formation is the bigger one founded in the park and allows us 150 meters of routing.  Free time to do your own routing by others paths of the park and to take pictures.  Continue to Granada and accommodation.

Day 03 GRANADA-VOLCAN MOMBACHO

Early in the morning we will start our trip until we get the lower slope of Mombacho Volcano where we will start our trip to the Biological Station.  During our rise we can observe the unique beauty of this singular  cloud forest.  Route by the path of 1,500 meters where will appreciate the beauty of this green island, the splendid flora and fauna who reflect the diversity of environment with endemic species of the zone, beautiful trees covered mocees, ferns, bromeliads and orchids.  At the top we will have the impressive panoramic view of the small islands and Granada City before we enter at Elfin Forest, characterized by its wind twisted trunks and shrub-like tree tops.  Lunch (optional).  At the afternoon you can have sport activity of canopy located in the lower slops of the volcano.  Accomodation in Granada where you can walk by its historical center full of past colonial.

Day 04 GRANADA-OMETEPE

In the morning we depart to San Jorge Port where to aboard the boat to Ometepe Island.  Climbing to certain high of Conception volcano.  By the afternoon we will have a trip around the island visiting the archeological museum of Altagracia.  Accomodation in Hotel Villa Paraiso.

Day  05 OMETEPE

Early in the morning we will start our climbing of Maderas´ Volcano to reach the top where you can enjoy a bath in the lagoon of its crater if you desired it.  Return and the end of afternoon to the hotel.  Accomodation.

Day  06 OMETEPE-LEON. 

Today we will have the opportunity to appreciate the volcanic chain because after our returning to San Jorge we will go to the West zone:  Leon and Chinandega.  In route we will visit Old Leon Ruins where we are going to observe the Momotombo Volcano which eruption destroyed this city in 1610.  WE continue to Leon for a city tour where we will visit the Cathedral, Ruben Dario´s Tomb inside it, the basements and after we will get the top from where we will have the panoramic beauty of the volcanic chain.  We continue our trip until Los Hervideros de San Jacinto, formation of the breathers of Santa Clara Volcano where we will have the experience to admire the beautiful small craters with boiling mud and water vapor.  Accomodation in Leon.

Day 07 LEON-CHINANDEGA

Departure early to continue our view from the road part of the volcanic Chain:  Telica, Casitas and San Cristóbal volcanoes arriving at the entrance of Chinandega.  60 kilometers far from here we will arrive at Cosigüina Farm where we are going to observe the milking of cows activities, located at the lower slope of Cosigüina volcano, we will observe the milking of cows and will have an explanation on the development of a livestock farm, you will taste the famous small rings (named “rosquillas”) and coffee typical foods of the country.  We start our trip of 10 kilometers in a 4 x 4 vehicle on land road with a volcanic view in the lower slope of Cosigüina volcano, which its big eruption in 1835 reach Mexico city.  To reach certain high we continue by a stretch of 2 kilometers on a shady path until we reach the crater of the volcano with its impressive panoramic view of the Gulf of Fonseca unique place from where you can see the borders of three central American countries:  Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras.  Lunch and free time to take pictures.  Return and Accomodation in Chinandega.

Day 08 CHINANDEGA-EL REALEJO-CHICHIGALPA-MANAGUA

Check out and departure from Hotel Cosigüina to Paso Caballos, El Realejo, first commercial port during the Spaniard Conquest, reach on history and colonial culture, visit to Port Corinto from where we will contemplate the Island El Cardon, place of inspiration of our big universal poet Ruben Dario. Continue to Chichigalpa to visit the factory of Flor de Caña Rum, where after we saw its process you can taste our famous Nicaraguan rum.  Return to Managua and end of our services.
