Day 01: COSTA RICA - GRANADA
Pick at the border with Costa Rica ( Peñas Blanca). Transfer to Granada. (98 KM)
We will stop at the side of the great lake of Nicaragua in the restaurant LA MAR, whose owner is the famous baseball player Dennis Martinez, we will have a snack and then we will continue to the city of Rivas where we will visit the Museum and perform a panoramic tour. We will carry on towards the marvellous and impressive city of Granada, which colonial architecture will take us back to the 18th Century. Its small streets for cars pulled by horses will allow us create a concrete idea of the customs of the epoch of the Spanish conquer that took place in this city.
Historic Centre Tour: The Church and Archaeological Museum of the Convent of San Francisco. Cathedral among other colonials buildings are part of all the architectonical beauty of this city.
Overnight stay in the Hotel Alambra 3* or in any of the charming hotels in the city.

Day 02: GRANADA
After breakfast we will visit the Natural Reserve “Mombacho Volcano”, which has many species of flora and fauna proper of this zone. Because it is a very productive land, it is used to cultivate coffee. Once we climb the volcano we will get an impressive view of the region, the great immensity of the lake of Nicaragua, its small islands, and the Masaya’s Volcano, among others. In the afternoon we will finish our tour by visitingl the Cocibolca (or Nicaragua) Lake. Tha lake`s 356 small islands will bring you an Eco-tour that will remind you of origin of the species of the region. Day 03: GRANADA-CATARINA-MASAYA-MANAGUA
Breakfast. Following the Check out we will visit the little town of Catarina, wich posses the biggest lagoon of the Country it also counts with one of the most beautiful panoramic views from this lands. Catarina is a very picturesque town of artisans. We will continue to the city of Masaya and the artisans Market where you can find typical ceramic artefacts from the region. Visit to the National Park Volcan Masaya and its museum, where we will encounter many traditions of our aborigines. We will also learn how the geological formation of the area and the country was in General. We will ascend the crater where we can see the nests of chocoyos (love birds) that has adapt to the sulphur environment of this active Volcano. Next we will go to Managua where we will overnight in Hotel Holyday inn 4*

Day 04: MANAGUA
Alter breakfast we will take a city tour of Managua beginning by visiting the Historical Centre of the capital, where we can encounter: El Malecon, Plaza Juan Pablo II, the National Theatre, the Ruben Dario National Theatre, Dario Park, Central Park, the old Cathedral, and The national Palace of Culture where we can find the National Museum. Continuing with our tour you will visit the archaeological site and museum “Acahualinca footprints”, with more than 10,000 years of age, full of History about our old civilization. It is presume that they were originated by the eruption of Masaya , asozosca or Tiscapa Volcano. We will also visit the Site Museum of memorial Sandino, Where we can admire the panoramic view of the City of Managua. To terminate our Tour we’ll go to the Central Market. (Roberto Huembes).

Day 05: MANAGUA-Frontera de Peñas Blancas.(o traslado de salida al Aeropuerto)
Breakfast. Transfer to Costa Rica at the most favourable hour (140 Kms). If the client prefer, the transfer will be to the International Airport for a returning flight to their home country.

Day 1.
Pick up at the Costa Rican Border and transfer to San Juan del Sur, to the hacienda & Ecolodge Morgan´s Rock, beautiful all inclusive Ecologic hacienda located just 45 minutes away from the border to Costa Rica. Breakfast. 7: AM Departure to Port of San Jorge where we will take the Ferry to go to Ometepe Island. Religious sanctuary of our Indians. We will make a Tours by the island and will overnight in Hotel Villa Paraiso where we will have dinner on the beach.

Day 4. Ometepe.
Breakfast. Depart the Hotel to Star escalading Maderas Volcano. Where we will walk during 2 hours to reach 700mts to arrive at the cascades where you can benefit from the nature and take a bath surrounded by nature. We will visit Hacienda Magdalena where we can appreciate Idols of the Mayan Culture. Dinner at Hotel Villa Paraiso.

Day 5. Ometepe-Granada
Breakfast. Transfer in the Morning to Port san Jorge arriving in Granada. Overnight stay in Hotel la Gran Francia. The marvellous and impressive city of Granada, with colonial architecture that will take us back to the 18th Century. Its small streets for cars pulled by horses will allow us create a concrete idea of the customs of the epoch of the Spanish conquer that took place in this city. Historic Centre Tour: The church and San Francisco Convent, Cathedral, La Merced Church, Guadalupe Church, La Polvora fortress are some of the most representatives colonial buildings. Day 01 BORDER WITH COSTA RICA-SAN JUAN DEL SUR
After welcoming you in Peñas Blancas, which borders to the south with Costa Rica, we will take you to the beautiful port of San Juan del Sur, (458kms), a touristic town where we will find a variety of small restaurants located right by the beach where you can choose to have lunch in at your own expense. We will spend the afternoon in the beach, where you will be able to practice surfing. Check in at Hotel Casa Blanca 3* , right in front of the beach.

Day 02 SAN JUAN DEL SUR-OMETEPE
Breakfast. Departure at 6:40 am to the port of San Jorge, (26km) where we will board a small boat that will take us to the Island of Ometepe, a religious sanctuary of our Indian forbearers. At arrival, we will undertake a route through the surroundings of the Island, that will allow us to enjoy the complete natural beauty of this sacred place. We will visit the archaeological museum of Altagracia, La Punta de Jesús María and The lake of Charco Verde, where we will be regaled with the legend that seems to bring this magical place to life. Lunch in a local restaurant, and around 4:00pm we will go back to the port of San Jorge to resume our journey to the City of Granada (68km). Check in at Alambra Hotel 3*.

Day 03 GRANADA
Breakfast. We will start our route through the city of Granada, distinguished by a Colonial architecture that will take us back to the eighteenth century. Narrow streets with horse-drawn carriages will allow our minds to create a concrete idea of the customs of the epoch of the Spanish occupation. The Church and Archaeological museum of the Convent of San Francisco, the Cathedral, Church and Xalteva square, Church “La Merced”, church of Guadalupe, the fortress “La Pólvora”, among other colonial buildings, are just a part of the architectonical beauty displayed in this city. You will have the afternoon free where you can choose to take an optional tour through either the “Small Islands” or El Mombacho Volcano. Onvernight sleep in Alambra Hotel.

Day 04 GRANADA-CATARINA-MASAYA-LEON
Breakfast. Check out in the morning, and then we will go visit the municipality of Catarina, a very typical town of artisans, which not only has the greatest lagoon in the country, but also one of the most beautiful panoramic views you can find in these lands. We will move along towards the city of Masaya and its Market of crafts . All the ceramics you could ever imagine in the region, you will be able to find them here. A visit to the Masaya Volcano National park and its museum, where we will learn everything from many of the traditions practiced by the natives of the region, to the geological formations of the area and the country in general, its fauna and flora. We will move up to the top of the crater of the volcano, from where we will be able to see the many nests of Parrakeets, a specie of birds that have adapted to the sulfurous environment of this active volcano. Lunch on route. We will continue our journey to the Occidental zone of our country, until we reach the city of León (122km). Along the way, we will be able to appreciate the immensity of the Momotombo Volcano, which buried the old city of León with its eruption back in 1610. Check in at the Austria Hotel 3*, located in the city of León.

Day 05 LEON-MANAGUA
Breakfast. Today we will be visiting the Nicaraguan city of University culture, named this way by both its excellence, and architecture. Besides being the first city founded by the Spaniards in our land, it constitutes the intellectual crave of our great poet Rubén Darío, Father of Modernism and Prince of Castellan Letters, as well as many other renowned figures of our literature. We will make a visit through the most important churches in the city: La Recolección, El Calvario, etc., without missing the magnificent and splendorous Cathedral, inside of which lay the remains of Rubén Darío, and from the top of its domes we will experience the almost perfect alignment of the volcanic mountain range. Visit to the boilings of San Jacinto, and geisers located at the slopes of the Santa Clara Volcano, which waters contain sulfides and can be used for medicinal purposes. On the afternoon, transfer back to Managua and overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel 4*.

Day 06 MANAGUA
Breakfast and departure to take the Managua City Tour. At arrival, we will visit the Historical Center of the capital: El Malecón, The Juan Pablo II square, The National Theater Rubén Darío, Darío’s park, the old Cathedral, the New House of Government, The National Palace of Culture and the National Museum. Once this visit has come to an end, we will continue our journey to the Museum of “Sitio Huellas de Acahualinca”, which gathers over 10,000 years of history of our old civilization. These “footprints” were formed during an eruption probably made either by the Masaya, Asososca or Tiscapa volcano. At the end of the day, we will visit the Museum of Sandino’s Memorial Site, from which we will experience the most beautiful and vast overview of the city of Managua, with the lake Xolotlan adorning its background. Overnight stay in Managua, at the Holiday Inn Hotel 5*.

Day 07 MANAGUA- TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. At the right time, we will transfer you to either the frontier with Costa Rica, (140kms) or to the National Airport so you can take the flight back to your country of origin.

Day 02 GRANADA-MASAYA
Breakfast. We will start our tour visiting the artisans market of the city of Masaya where you could buy all kinds of souvenirs carrying on to the National Park Volcan Masaya where we’ll get a great panoramic view of the lake of Nicaragua, Tipitapa river, The city of Granada and las Sierras of santo Domingo. Also we will explore interesting caves with an impressive diversity of Flora and Fauna for those who love adventures. We will have Lunch at a local restaurant. We will return to Granada in the afternoon. Dinner. |

Day 03 GRANADA-CARAZO-CATARINA-LAGUNA DE APOYO
Breakfast.
Today we will visit the zone of Carazo where will take a tour that allow us to be in touch with nature (if the season permit us) we can participate in coffee cutting ( October- January) and interact with farm workers.
Lunch and visit the Catarina viewpoint, picturesque town of artisans, continuing towards Apoyo lagoon and arriving at Ecolodge Norome at the side of the lagoon.
Dinner.

Day 04 LAGUNA DE APOYO-NATURAL RESERVE "EL CHOCOYERO"
Keeping in touch with the nature; this tour is specialy designed for bird watching. Early departure to natural reserve “ EL CHOCOYERO” . Soon alter arriving we will walk thru footpaths in heavy woods where where many interesting bird species live, moving on until we reach cascade “ EL BRUJO” continuing our bird watching until we come across to cascade “OJO DEL TIGRE”. After resting by the side of our Frondosos trees we will return to Norome Hotel and spend the rest of our day enjoying sports activities in the lagoon or simply just take a warm and delicious bath in it. |

Day 05 LAGUNA DE APOYO-SAN CARLOS-SOLENTINAME
Breakfast and Transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to San Carlos and arrive in San Juan River later we will sail between the exuberant vegetation to Solentiname. After Lunch we will visit the island and community of the primitivism painters . Overnight in albergue Mancarron. Dinner |

Day 06: SOLENTINAME - RIO SAN JUAN
Breakfast and transfer to San Carlos Moving on in a private boat that will take us to admire the ecological paradise of San Juan river where we will appreciate various interesting species. We will also visit fortress “EL CASTILLO” build by the Spanish people to protect the city of Granada from the English pirates from the period of the famous Lord Nelson.
After lunch we will travel to Montecrito Rivers where we will overnight and have dinner.

Day 07 RIO SAN JUAN
Breakfast and visitto the Natural Reserve Indio Maíz, where we will see a lot of species of wildlife animals in its natural environment: crocodiles, monkeys, cormorants and birds from many exotic species of our flora and fauna sailing thru our virgin jungle. Overnight In Montecristo Rivers. Dinner included. |

Day 01 GRANADA-MANAGUA
Departure at 7:30 am from the cities of San José or Liberia, with direct destination to the Granada airport, operated by Nature Air. Transfer to Managua. At arrival, we will visit the Historical Center of the capital: El Malecón, The Juan Pablo II square, the National Theater Rubén Darío, Darío’s park, the old Cathedral, the New House of Government, The National Palace of Culture and the National Museum. Once this visit has come to an end, we will head for the Restaurant “Cocina de Doña Haydeé“, where we will partake of the most typical dishes of Nicaragua´s cuisine. Check in at the Holiday Inn 5*, and at 2:30pm we will continue our journey to the Museum of “Sitio Huellas de Acahualinca”, which gathers over 10,000 years of history of our old civilization. Day 02 MANAGUA-LEON
Breakfast. Today we will head towards the Occidental zone of our country, passing by the Ruins of the Old Leon, from where we will be able to observe the Momotombo Volcano, which eruption destroyed this city in the year 1610. We will move along to the Colonial city of Leon where we will undertake a City Tour visiting: The Cathedral, in which lies the Tomb of Rubén Darío, walk trough the cellars and then make our way up to the peak of the Cathedral, where we will be able to enjoy the splendid panoramic view of the volcanic mountain range, the Museum of Art, and the native Indian district “El Laborío“. On the afternoon we will visit the San Jacinto boilings and geisers located at the slopes of the Santa Clara Volcano, which waters contain sulfides and can be used for medicinal purposes. Transfer back to Managua. |

Day 06 OMETEPE-GRANADA
Breakfast. By morning we will take pleasure in exploring the surroundings of this ecological paradise. At noon we will go back to the dock to take a ferry back and resume our journey towards the city of Granada. Arrival and check in at the “La Gran Francia Hotel 5*”. Lunch. Walk through the Historical Center of this beautiful colonial city. |

Day 07 GRANADA- MASAYA-GRANADA
Breakfast. We will continue ascending until we reach the Oviedo square, from where we will be able to observe the impressive beauty and magnitude of the crater, as well as the many nests of Parrakeets, a specie of birds that have adapted to the sulfurous environment of this active volcano.

Day 08 GRANADA- MOMBACHO-ISLETAS-GRANADA
Breakfast. We will begin our eco-touring route in the early hours of the morning towards the biological station of the Mombacho Volcano. During our ascend we will delight our eyes with the unmatchable beauty of this unique cloudy forest. A walk trough a 1,500 mts path will enable us to appreciate the total beauty of this Island, the splendorous fauna and flora found in this extensive diversity of environments, filled with endemic species which are characteristic to the zone. Stunning trees covered with musk, ferns and orchids up to the point where its impossible to distinguish where one tree ends and another begins. As we reach the peaks of the hills and cliffs of the volcano, a dazzling panoramic view of the Small Islands and the City of Granada, will little by little revealed, just before we make our way into the unique “Dwarfed forest”, with its trees of shrunk treetops and twisted trunks caused by the strength of the wind. Lunch, and in the afternoon we will take a boat ride trough some of the channels that surround the Small Islands of Granada.

Day 09 GRANADA-EL CHOCOYERO-CATARINA-SAN JUAN DE ORIENTE Y LOS PUEBLOS
Breakfast. Today we will continue with our tour in contact with nature, specially designed for the observation of “Chocoyos” (Parrakeets). We will leave early in the morning towards an ecotouristic site called “El Chocoyero”. Arrival, and a walk trough the narrow paths in the thick woods where these type of birds nest all the time. We will observe the birds, and rest under the leafy trees. We will return to the bus and move along to the native towns of Catarina and San Juan de Oriente, where we will be able to appreciate the very best of our National crafts. The towns are very close one to the other. Diria, Diriomo, Niqinohomo, Masatepe, San Marcos and others, are all gathered together in a valley that practically spells out the colors, music and vivid sotries of our ancestors folklore. Crafts made out of clay, wood and bamboo, the best traditional candies in the country, the most delicious soups of the region, white magic spells to become irresistible to the opposing sex, among other, are many of the most relevant things to try in this tour that leaves an unforgettable impression on our minds of the Chorotega Culture. Transfer back to Granada in the afternoon and overnight sleep.

Transfer back to the Airport, where you will take your Nature Air flight with destination to San Jose, or transfer to the International Airport to return to your country of origin.
