Colonial Granada & the Small Islands {SOL 4}

8 hrs. What an incredible city Granada is! It’s colonial architecture, meals, history even its population is unique in the world because they keep original Spanish customs. The church and San Francisco Convent, Cathedral, La Merced Church, Guadalupe Church, La Polvora fortress are some of the most representatives colonial buildings. You can see the biggest lake in Central America and the only one in the world with fresh water where there are sharks. We will also aboard a boat to go in the middle of the beautiful 356 islets of the lake.

FD - The Colonial City of León {SOL 5}

8 hrs. One of the most important places that you will visit is the most beautiful Cathedral of our country where Rubén Darío is buried. You will visit the Indigenous neighborhoods of Subtiava too. You will admire the Volcanic Pacific Chain of Nicaragua where the Momotombo Volcano with its impressive form constitutes the origin of the living areas around. The marvelous panoramic scenic of the Lake of Managua is also one of the attractions. We will visit Old Leon, ruins of the original country founded by the Spaniard conquerors. “Hervideros de San Jacinto”, 15 minutes from Leon there is an area full old small craters with boiling mud and water vapor is one of the beautiful sites we will visit too. The lunch is also included in this full day tour.

FD - A Trip to the White Towns {SOL 6}

8 hrs. There is a cluster of lovely, quaint little towns near Managua which the Nicaraguans fondly call Los Pueblos Blancos (The white towns) They are Catarina, which borders on the deep crater of the Apoyo Lagoon (the biggest one in Nicaragua) there is a splendid panoramic view from the verandah. San Juan de Oriente is famous for the clay of vessels made there. Although the towns of Diriá and Diriomo are called “The Towns of Sorcery” because of the legends about ghosts, witches and sorcerers, their residents specialize in preparing homemade sweets.
