¿WHAT DO WE DO?

Central America has submarine marvels, from coral reefs to multiple islands, which contain beautiful marine life and a diversity that includes giant stingrays, marine turtles, fish, coral formations, dolphins and innumerous exotic species. There are many areas for snorkeling in the Caribbean Coast where you will also find protected coral reefs that are ideal for diving.

Many of these places have been declared by UNESCO as Patrimony of Humanity in Central America. The ancient Mayan cultures reached their splendor in these lands. Antigua Guatemala, the ruins in Copan Honduras, the Cere´s   Jewel in El Salvador… all cultural sites on the Mayan Route, which will be interesting adventures for you in Central America. The largest of the Mayan ceremonial centers and without a doubt, one of the main tourism attractions in Central America can be appreciated at Tikal.

Nicaragua also has Biological Reserves, Natural Parks, rain and cloud forests, large rivers, two oceans: this generous nature makes it hard to decide among the various activities offered, which include rafting, windsurfing, diving, kayaking, sports fishing and surfing.  
Ecotourism in Nicaragua finds the perfect site. Also ideal for the most recognized bird watchers due to the great diversity of birds it has. One of the reasons for the extraordinary abundance of birds is the tremendous variety of habitat in the region: rainforests, cloud and forests, beaches, rivers and mangroves. And these different ecosystems, with their own species of birds, are generally very close to each other.

There are opportunities to ride in almost all of the Nicaraguan territory and explore on horseback as well as trekking, which can be a great experience during your vacations. In the areas conquered by the Spaniards, there are many livestock farms covering the hills with volcanic forests where you can enjoy milking a cow or simply trekking. Nonetheless, several mountain hotels and naturalist lodges offer excursions on horseback that lead you through pasturelands, with stocks at cascades and lagoons. Horseback tours area also an excellent opportunity to observe birds and feel close to nature.

Religious tourism finds its major expression during patron feasts filled with color and folklore in all of the Central American towns whose peoples are called Chapines (Guatemala), Guanacos (El Salvador), Catrachos (Honduras), Nicas (Nicaragua) and Ticos (Costa Rica), as well as Panameños (Panama).
